This was the first wedding that I had the opportunity to photograph. I will never forget the feeling of the day! I very quickly feel in love with capturing one of the most important days of people's lives. It definitely helped that Kim and Craig had such an adventurous spirit. They chose to strap on their alpine touring skis and have all their guests do the same (or snowshoes) to trek into a secluded field in the middle of Spray Lakes, Kananaskis.  At first it was sad to see the mountains disappearing with a storm coming in, but the bold and beautiful snowflakes that followed made this wedding seem magical!  They followed the ceremony with an incredible reception at Miner's Hall in Canmore.
